We are meeting at the Harvester at Sandling nr Maidstone on the A229, nr M20 J6 at 4pm and then convoying to Hastings. We are parking in Roc a nor car park and
then going to eat. After that we are going to watch the parade and the fireworks.
This a great fun night, with fish n chips, followed by a pagan parade of 50 bonfire assocaitions and the a huge bonfire followed by a fireworks display. All this is FREE and to help raise funds for charity. Please post below if you plan to attend

What a great night - the biggest turnout by SMOC ever this event - 11 minis, 2 New Minis, and 2 non-minis - over 30 SMOCers. It was good to see so many new
members attending.
Apart from getting lost briefly twice, due to me relying on my sat nav, we all got there on time. The fish n chips went down well; The parade was pagan as usual and the fireworks spectacular, even if they finished a bit earlier at 9.15pm. It was good to see NHS parking fees, Greedy Bankers and Greedy Politicians blown up on the beach! Gary |

It was a very good night, i saw Dave H at the event but as the crowds were so big i was not surprised to not see the rest of you.

I didn't see you either Les, so it was 16 cars that went. Obviously Hastings is the place to go for a night out!

It was 1 of the best firework displays i have seen in years and it was free. You normally need to pay for organised displays, like at our favorite place (the
hop farm) and i don't think there display comes close.
